01Who these terms are between
Crewbit is provided by Avancei Tecnologia LTDA, CNPJ 65.915.777/0001-21, with its registered office at Rua Visconde do Rio Branco 1488, conj. 909, Centro, Curitiba, PR, CEP 80420-210, Brazil ("we", "us"). They apply to you and, where you sign up on behalf of a company, to that company, and by accepting them you confirm you may bind it.
02What the service does
Crewbit reads work items from a source you connect, opens a Run for one, produces a plan, and, once you approve that plan, dispatches stages to runners you operate. It records the state of every Run, applies results back to your provider, and opens pull requests on your behalf. The model that writes the plan and the code runs on your machine under your own agreement with its vendor. We are not a party to that agreement and we do not resell model capacity.
03Your account and your org
You sign in through the identity provider we support, and everything you create belongs to an org. Members of an org can see its Projects, its sources, its Runs and its runner credentials. You are responsible for who you add to your org and for revoking access when someone leaves.
04Runners and credentials
A runner connects with a credential you mint. It is shown once. A credential authorises the runner to receive work belonging to your org and nothing else; a runner never sees another org's work. You are responsible for where you store a credential and for revoking one you no longer control. We may refuse a connection, and the refusal names the reason.
05Your code and your repositories
Your code is yours. We do not clone your repositories to our infrastructure: the clone happens on your runner and its remote is removed before any stage executes in it. We hold the credential that reads your provider and writes branches, comments and pull requests, scoped to the sources you attach. You may detach a source at any time, which stops us using it.
Anything a stage produces (a plan, a diff, a verdict, a pull request body) is yours, subject to whatever your model vendor's terms say about generated output. We claim no rights in it beyond storing and displaying it back to your org.
06What you are responsible for
Reviewing. Crewbit is built so that no code is written without your approval of a plan and no pull request is marked ready without an independent review passing, but neither of those is a substitute for a human reading the change before it merges. You decide what merges and you own the consequences.
Also: that you are entitled to use the model you point a runner at, under that vendor's terms, for automated work of this kind; that you have the right to grant us access to the repositories you attach; and that the machine you run a runner on is one you are allowed to run it on.
07Plans, limits and payment
The Free plan is offered at no charge and its limits are published on the pricing page. Paid plans are billed monthly, in advance, in US dollars per runner, and an action that would exceed a plan's limit is refused rather than charged as an overage. Prices may change with 30 days' notice, taking effect at your next renewal. You may cancel at any time; the plan runs to the end of the paid period and then drops to Free, and nothing your org created is deleted by that change alone.
08Acceptable use
Do not use Crewbit to work on code you have no right to, to attack or overload the service, to attempt to reach another org's data, or to circumvent a plan limit or a credential revocation. Do not use it to build a competing service from what you learn of ours.
09The service is provided as it is
Automated work fails, and it sometimes fails while looking like it succeeded, which is why there is an approval gate and an independent review, and why a verdict defaults to fail. We do not warrant that a plan is correct, that generated code is fit for anything, that a review catches every defect, or that the service is uninterrupted. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties.
10Liability
Neither party is liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for lost profits or lost data. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it arose, or R$ 1,000 if you are on the Free plan. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Brazilian law.
11Suspension and ending it
You may stop using Crewbit at any time by deleting your org, which removes its Projects, sources, Runs and credentials within 30 days. We may suspend an org that breaches section 8, or that is unpaid after 15 days, and we will say which and why. We may discontinue the service with 90 days' notice and a way to export your Run history.
12Changes to these terms
We will post a new version here with its date, and material changes are announced by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use Crewbit after that date accepts the new version.
13Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, and the courts of Curitiba, PR, have exclusive jurisdiction, except where consumer legislation gives you the right to sue where you live.
